I have a Doctorate in Philosophy and a Master of Social Work. Currently, I am an Assistant Professor (limited term) at Wilfrid Laurier University in the Department of Philosophy. I teach courses primarily in feminist philosophy, continental philosophy, and ethics. Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Allan Gray Centre for Leadership Ethics at Rhodes University in South Africa. My research aims to bridge the gap between the theoretical and the practical aspects of embodiment. I am a co-editor of the forthcoming text Rethinking Feminist Phenomenology: From the Theoretical to the Practical which will be published with Rowman & Littlefield International in 2018.
Apart from my academic work, I enjoy swimming, vegetarian cooking, and birdwatching.
